Our Last Day by the Sea

Today was my last day working in the Abritel office and our last day in Marseille.
I had a very nice lunch with Nicolas and Christophe (sadly, Jordan was too busy to join us). We ate in Place de Joliette very close to the office, and got some sun while we waited for a server to notice us.

Jordan in his office
I snapped some photos of the office and Jordan (my handler while in Marseille and a 'tres cool' guy. Turns out he was on the phone with a good friend and colleague back in Texas when I took to photo of him in his office.

Believe it or not, that's a restaurant

Our first Tunisian meal
I asked the guys if they knew of a North African restaurant to recommend. We wanted to try something that we don't see in Texas (though that list is really, really long). He recommended a Tunisian place close to Noailles, and by the time we headed out (Wayne had some client calls he needed to make), it was getting dark, and that is a neighborhood you don't want to be in late at night. Instead we headed east of the apartment. toward the nicer areas and away from the port. We made a big loop and ended up finding a restaurant by the same name on our own street. Wayne had couscous with lamb and I had tarine with beef and we shared a pitcher of Tunisian red wine. It was good and very filling, so we skipped dessert (quelle domage!)

Tomorrow we take the train to Lyon for a couple of days, then on to Paris on Saturday.
